Ogroman primjerak tune prodan je u nedjelju za gotovo 12 milijuna kuna na prvoj godišnjoj aukciji ribe u Tokiju…

Atlantska plavoperajna tuna teška 276 kilograma, procijenjena na oko 43 tisuća kuna po kilogramu, prodana je na ribljoj tržnici Toyosu. Kupac je tvrtka Kiyomura koja upravlja lancem sushi restorana Zanmai.

“Osjećam se još sretnije zbog pobjedničke ponude jer je ovo prva aukcija u eri Reiwa”, rekao je predsjednik tvrtke Kiyoshi Kimura, referirajući se na novo carsko doba koje je započelo u svibnju.

“To je puno novaca. No želim da kupci probaju najbolju tunu”, dodao je.

Kupljena riba ulovljena je u Omi, gradiću na sjevernom vrhu Honshua, najvećeg japanskog otoka.

Cijena postignuta u nedjelju druga je najveća u povijesti u Japanu, otkad su vlasti 1999. počele bilježiti cijene.

Rekord je postavljen prošle godine kad je Kimura za 278 kilograma tešku tunu platio oko 20 milijuna kuna.
